Zones & the Cascade Rule

The reading zones

Read the couple chart by zone, not position by position. Each zone is a specific key on the chart:

• Acquaintance — a · o · s (the left key): why the two met, how their communication is meant to run, and the conclusions that open the next stage of the relationship.
• True intimacy — b · p · t (the top key): the spiritual purpose of the bond, what the couple must learn together — and the unspoken thoughts that can quietly end it.
• The comfort zone — e (the centre): what the couple does to rest and feel at home in the relationship.
• The relationship channel — j · k · l: j reads the intimate life and its problems, k what preserves love and feeling, l what blocks trust and harmony.
• The money channel — n · m · l: n how the couple multiplies and keeps its wealth, m the joint contribution each partner must make, l what blocks the financial flow.
• The couple's purpose — the sidebar sums (the couple's Sky and Earth lines carried onward): the gift the bond unlocks if the work is passed.

Notice l appears in both channels — it is the love–money fusion, and in a couple chart it reads as the blocks point of each: what obstructs harmony is usually what obstructs the money, and vice versa.

There is no numeric compatibility score. Every arcanum has two poles — compatibility is the story of which pole each zone is being lived on, and whether the couple is walking toward the light one.
