The five positions
The personal-brand method works exclusively with five positions — the four corners and the centre:
- a — social mask. The first-impression traits, how a person reads on a screen.
- b — innate gift. The strongest content angle, the thing they're built to make.
- c — past-life profession. The expertise pin — and the position that gates income.
- d — past-life mistake. The anti-pattern: what not to broadcast (covered next lesson).
- e — true self. The core anchor everything else must stay honest to.
Note the priority: c gates income, so professional positioning leads with c — unless c sits in shadow, in which case you front-load a or e and treat c as developmental, something the client grows into.
