Character is a combination
Character is not stored in a single position. It emerges when you read the core positions together: the portrait (a) — how the person shows up; the soul (e) — what energises and steadies them; and whichever energies dominate by repeating across the chart. A reading that names only one of these has named a trait, not a character.
Start at the centre. The soul is the comfort zone — the behaviour that recharges the person and the behaviour that drains them. Then lay the portrait over it: the face they meet the world with. The friction or the harmony between those two is the spine of the character.
